ACSX-1 Heat Trace Connection Kits are a CSA/(CUS) certified component for installation with LXR, MXR and HXR self-regulating heating cables. They are designed to connect an HTS Heater Cable to power and feature a stanchion that offers excellent mechanical protection for heater cables installed on a pipe and allows for application of up to 4" of thermal insulation. Grounding of the heating cable is quick and easy with no requirements for “pig-tailing” the ground braid. Additionally, hot work permits are not required to install it due to the cold-applied core sealer supplied with the kit.
